The three young 2005 queens inseminated with pPmix05(JL) drones, numbers 15, 27, 131, were used because quite many queens of this insemination patch turned into drone layers in May 2006. The sisters 1 and 80 were from a buckfast mother 101. After two Primorski matings their colonies are Primorski like bees and therefore they are marked R instead of B. Some 3% of the hives are dying because of ”Reduced Varroa Treatment“ - program started 2001. Only one time oxalic acid treatment has been given, and the amount of acid has been reduced each year by 5 ml. Year 2006 the treatment is 13 ml, the same to strong and weak hives. Only 2 hives were lost because of AFB 2006. | ||||||
