Die Königinnen B966(MD) (mit B029(MD) und B142(MD)) Â gehören in eine Linie die unsprünglich aus Schweden kommt und wurde von Ulf Grön als ”gamal Buckfast“ (alt Buckfast) bezeichnet.

Sie wurde durch Anpaarungen über Belegtellen und Besamungen fortgeführt und zeichnet sich durch hohe Erträge, absolute Schwarmträgheit und besondere Friedfertigkeit aus. Durch ihre Volksstärke zeigt sie regelmäßig überdurchschnittliche Frühtrachternten. Die Nachzuchten sind auch bei Standbegattungen in der Regel stabil mit typischem Buckfastcharakter.
