B7(THK) is a queen of Thomas Künzel (DE) mated in 2015, descendant G9 of Bayburt98-3R. She is a Buckfast who comes from a line of pure anatolica-combination.

Die Anpaarung B22(THK) x L185(CHP) ist wohl das Beste, was mir bisher gelungen ist. Bei dieser Biene kommt man ins schwärmen. Was einem beim öffnen der Kiste sofort ins Auge sticht sind die blitzeblanken Oberträger, absolut kein Verbau und sehr wenig Propolis. Außerdem überzeugt die B7 durch ihre herausragende Sanftmut. Den Smoker kann man getrost daheim lassen. Sie baut sehr große und schlagkräftige Völker auf, die von der Kirsche bis zur Edelkastanie zuverlässig beste Erträge einbringen. Natürlich hat sie nie eine Weiselzelle angesetzt. Trotz des durchweg hohen Brutumsatzes hält sich der Varroadruck auch zum Ende der Saison sehr stark in Grenzen. Diese Biene erfüllt alles, was Sie von einer Buckfast erwarten.
