B300(HE) is a queen of Reinhold Hechler (DE) mated in 2017, descendant G23 of Atlas85R. She is a “Old Buckfast” who comes from a long strain of pure sahariensis-combination.

B300(HE) habe ich von Herrn Hechler 2017 bekommen.
Die Biene ist buckfastfarben, sanftmütig, sammeleifrig, baufreudig im großen und ganzen eine gute Buckfast.
Leider ist Sie nicht ganz so winterfest wie meine schon länger gezüchteten Linien.
Sie geht etwas schwächer aus dem Winter, baut dann aber zügig Ihr Volk auf und holt Ihren kleinen Rückstand sehr schnell wieder auf.
Die Bienen verbrauchen nicht so viel Futter im Winter.Wir haben seit dem Jahr 2000 auf das 5,1 Zellenmaß umgestellt.
Es wird bei uns auch keine Drohnenbrut geschnitten und eine erhöhte Anzahl von varroabedingte Schäden wurde von uns während des Sommers nicht bemerkt.
