B22(THK) is a queen of Thomas Künzel (DE) mated in 2013, descendant G8 of Bayburt98-3R. She is a Buckfast who comes from a line of pure anatolica-combination.

Die B22(THK) hatte eine gute Auswinterungsstärke und konnte diese in eine überdurchschnittliche Frühtrachternte umsetzen. Die Volksstärke entwickelte sich rasant weiter — in der Sommertracht war sie der Champion. Die Honigverdeckelung ist schneeweiß und sie macht keinen Stütz- oder Brückenbau. Auch 5,1er Zellen baut sie wunderschön aus.

Trotz ihrer Volksstärke setzte sie keine Schwarmzellen an. Außerdem ist die Biene ausgesprochen sanftmütig und klebt regelrecht auf der Wabe. Mit ihrer wunderschönen lederbraunen Farbausprägung ist sie zudem was für €stheten.
