B189(PJ) is a queen of Paul Jungels (LU) mated in 2010, descendant F16 of AthosSt80R. She is a Buckfast who comes from a long strain of pure Athos Stavronikita.

Die Linie ist mäßig fruchtbar, die Völker haben aber bei uns hier zum richtigen Moment die optimale Volksstärke, machen hierdurch wenig Arbeit. Bei lang anhaltender Volltracht wäre diese Biene anderen Linien deutlich unterlegen. Nach der stressigen Waldtracht 2011 haben sich die Völker allerdings problemlos erholt und gingen in perfekter Harmonie in den Winter. Gespannt kann man immer sein, wie stark nach der Bmix Besamung die Streuung der Nachzuchten ausfällt. Allerdings liegt in der Variation erst die Basis jeder Auslese.
