B14(AH) is a queen of Heike Aumeier (DE) mated in 2011, descendant F30 of B-xx43. She is a “Old Buckfast” who comes from a long strain of old buckfast line.

B14(AH) ist eine sehr brutfreudige, langlebige Biene.  Ihr Wabensitz, die Schwarmträgheit entspricht einer gut durchgezüchteten Buckfasbiene.
Die Honigdeckelung ist weiß und Sie hat keinen Wirrbau.
Bei der Sanftmut in Verbindung mit Varroa muß man Abstriche machen, da ist Sie nicht mehr so brav.
Sobald die Varroabehandlung erfolgt ist und der Varroadruck wieder unter die Schadschwelle sinkt ist Sie wieder sehr sanftmütig.
Leider war letztes Jahr mit dem Honig bei uns nicht so gut bestellt, aber in Anbetracht der wenigen Frühtracht, viel Sie signifikant zum positiven auf.
Sie versorgte sich die ganze Zeit selber und schränkte auf Grund der total ausgefallen Sommertracht Ihr Brutnest den Umständen entsprechend ein.
Nach der Varroabehandlung und Fütterung erstarkte das Volk wieder und ging sehr schön in den Winter.
