– Comments of Paul Jungels ...

Die direkte Bewertungen der Zuchtmütter in Tabellenform vermitteln Aufschluss über die Eigenschaften der Zuchtköniginnen selbst, geben hingegen kaum Hinweis auf die Eigenschaften der jeweiligen Gesamtlinie in der betreffenden Generation selbst wie in der Vergangenheit. Aus diesem Grunde wurde auf der Züchtertagung 2011 der GdeB beschlossen, den Pedigreeaufzeichnungen und der Tabelle mit den Auswertungen der Zuchtmütter eine Linienbeschreibung hinzuzufügen. Hier also ein Versuch meinerseits.

Beim Lesen dieser Beschreibung hier sollte man voraussetzen, dass Buckfastbienen, also alle B Linien, auf sehr hohem Niveau liegen was Sanftmut, Schwarmträgheit, Krankheitsfestigkeit und Leistung betreffen. Gerader Wabenbau und verhaltene Anwendung von Kittharz und Haftzellen (Wirrbau) werden bei uns ebenso streng bewertet. Bei der Beschreibung aller Linien möchte ich mich daher auf positive wie negative Besonderheiten beschränken.
