B49(DB) is a queen of Bioland Imkerei Bio-Biene Diana & Detlev Biel (DE) mated in 2011, descendant G9 of MG00R. She is a Buckfast who comes from a line of pure Margret's Hive No 3-combination.

Unsere B49 ist eine sehr typische schwarmträge Buckfastbiene.  In zwei Jahren brauchten wir nie eine Zelle brechen, da sie keine angesetzt hatte.  Sie ist sehr sanftmütig, fliegt weder auf noch knäueln sich die Bienen, wenn Waben gezogen werden.  Ihre Brutentwicklung ist rasant und stetig im Frühjahr.  Daher konnten sie und ihre Töchter uns selbst im schlechten Frühjahr 2013 die Lager füllen, als endlich 10 Tage gutes Wetter im Mai kamen.  Auf Grund des anatolischen Einflusses, sammelt sie mehr Propolis als unsere B32.  Wir finden Propolis in den Völkern aber nicht negativ, da es die Völker schützt und sich sehr gut vermarkten lässt.
