|
The "Pool of Survivors" consists of ten colonies that have proved to survive and thrive without Varroa treatment. Two mothers (P169(PJ) and EL13(IK)) have survived already two or three seasons without Varroa treatment; mothers of the remaining colonies (B57, B80 and B138) also have survived at least two seasons without Varroa treatment, but were not available as drone colonies. Eight daughters of such successful survivors have survived until now one season without treatment. | ||||||
